INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's track and field team has received a commitment from Chase Maxey as announced by head coach Mike Holman Monday afternoon. Maxey comes to Marian from Hamilton Southeastern High School.

Maxey is a four-year varsity letterman for the Royals and a two-time regional qualifier in the long jump. He was also named the 2017 Hamilton County champion in the event. Away from the track, Maxey is a member of the student athletic council at HSE.

He is the son of Chet and Teresa and has three siblings. He plans to major in business management while at Marian.
